Prenatal & Postpartum Massage
$115*

What is a prenatal massage?

Prenatal massage is a type that’s similar to regular massage – it aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. It uses a very gentle technique. Prenatal massage therapy can help reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health. Prenatal massage therapy addresses different needs through varying techniques, one of which is called Swedish Massage.

As your shape and posture changes, your massage therapist will make accommodations with special cushioning systems or holes that allow you to lie face down safely, while providing room for your growing belly and breasts. Or we will lie you on your side with the support of pillows and cushions to address your growing lower back and hip tension during pregnancy.

Can pregnant women get massages?

Getting the green light from your practitioner and letting your massage therapist know you’re pregnant is the first step. Pregnant individuals can get massage throughout their pregnancy as long as approved by their doctor. We will avoid certain pressure points for the prenatal clients.

We are located at Bethany, Portland
